Materials: | PC, legal copy of windows, and an Internet connection |
Introduction: | Demonstrating the basics of Formatting |
Development: | an Operating system is the Windows we use everyday. We refer to it as OS (Operating System). You'll need to insert the CD drive that has the OS on it or download an ISO file from Microsoft's website |
Practice: | Implement a copy of windows, restart your PC and follow the steps shown by Microsoft. You will need to make another disk and set the size to 50GB (51200MB) |
Accommodations: | Working PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse. |
Checking For Understanding: | Did your PC turn on and successfully boot using your new Windows Operating System? How many disks do you have other then the c:\ drive? |
Closure: | Take a final screenshot of your new operating system and show it to the students and explain how did you manage to finish formatting your PC. |
Evaluation: | Take a screenshot of every important process and make a PDF file out of it. and then email it to your professor. |
