Goals: | Students will be taught a variety of vocabulary, including parts of the body |
Objectives: | Objectives: Students will be able to * Reply when greeted by the teacher. * Respond to classroom commands. * Identify parts of the body. * Identify and demonstrate an understanding the new vocabulary of the body parts. |
Materials: | Materials: 1.-handout of the body parts 2.-Copies of the body parts 3.-Labels of body parts (head , eyes, nose, mouth, ears, etc} 4.-Cd music song " head , shoulders, knees and toes " |
Introduction: | After sufficient review and repetition drill, I will introduce the body parts using visuals aids. using the body parts handout and commands I will be done. |
Development: | With the handout, I will show a word . Students will say the word and point to that part their bodies. If they are right, they will touch the word beside that body part. I will guide students with this activity. |
Practice: | If time permits, go over song, "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" using the new words learned. |
Accommodations: | Using a worksheet with a word bank, students will label the body parts names |
Checking For Understanding: | Ask questions about objectives to check comprehension. |
Closure: | CLOSURE - Ask students to say in their own words what they have learned while pointing out the objectives on the board. |
Evaluation: | I am going to call the students in pairs at a time and ask them to orally say and touch the body parts names . |
Teacher Reflections: | I am going to monitor and Practice more with students who are having difficulty in learning process and I will making a list of students who need reteaching. |
