 Grade 11-12
Subject:
 Math

Topic:
Equations and Inequalities, Linear relationships that model real world situations. Data and Linear Representations
Content:
Students will review prior knowledge to recognize, graph and solve linear equations. Students will review Algebra 1 concepts, properties of equality and inequality, absolute value. Slopes and Intercepts (zero, undefined, positive and negative) graphing coordinates, y=mx+b slope (m) = change in y/ change in x.
Goals:
Students should be able to graph linear equations Students should be able to write and solve equations and inequalities in one and two variable situations. PA Standards 2.2A,2.8,2.8K,2.8L,2.8F,2.8H,2.8L
Objectives:
Develop and use computation concepts (Order of Operations (PEMDAS) with real numbers , formulate algebraic and graphic representation for data given. Determine the equation of a line given two points on the line or the slope of a line and a point on the line
