Goals:
 Students will use their knowledge of how to tell time, to help them read a digital clock. Students will practice using time vocabulary when telling time
Objectives:
 Students will use words to describe time. (example-half past one) Students will match the time on a digital clock with the word vocabulary. When given a time problem students will be able to distinguish between a.m. and p.m.
Materials:
 flash cards with digital time time bingo problem cards with pictures
Introduction:
 Ask the students to think about the different objects in their home that is used to tell time Discuss this question, If someone tells you to meet them at a certain time how do you know if it's in the morning or evening.
Development:
 Describe the different types of clocks and watches. Discuss the difference and how to read the time on each type of clock. Disciss the vocabulary and meaning for a.m. and p.m.
Practice:
 I will hold up different pictures of digital clocks, each student will have the opportunity to verbally express the time. I will also show pictures of activities that occur at a certain time and the students will tell me wether it's a.m. or p.m.
