Introduction:
Question: Your administrator has just come in and told you he needs you to cover graphic organizers for the class next door. It seems the teacher has gone into labor a little early, and now the class needs some last minute help before the Benchmark. What do you do? Turn to the internet!
Development:
The teAchnology website is a great place to turn to when you're in a crunch...or a rut...or being faced with a new topic you've had very little dealings with. If you look at the webpage on the screen (imagine we are actually looking at a screen and this won't sound as strange), you will see six different areas that can help you develop a new unit or improve an old one. From resources to teacher talks to services, this website can take you virtually anywhere in cyberspace for some cyber-assistance. In fact, I clicked on "Lesson Plans" under Teacher Resources and found the option to develop this very lesson. It gives you all the prompts you need and eliminates what you don't need whenit prints out the plan.
Practice:
Let's go back to that graphic organizer problem. Look under "Teacher Resources." Find the word 'organizers' and click on it. It will take you to various organizers. Find one that would work well for comparisons.
Accommodations:

Checking For Understanding:
What did you think about the site? Was it helpful? Was it easy to use? Would you recommend this site to anyone else?
Closure:
This website offers a variety of available resources, articles, and teacher-led input that can be helpful inyour classroom. Whether a spur-of-the-moment lesson comes up or you're just curious about what's out there, this website can be of great assistance.
Evaluation:
*How quickly everyone caught on to using it. *Feedback from peers- positive or negative towards the site?
Teacher Reflections:
If the class didn't find it very enlightening, then it may not be as super as I first thought. However, if it helps one perosn, I will be satisfied.
