Goals:
 Students will be able to identify and write interrogative sentences.
Objectives:
 1. Given the "wh" words that begin interrogative sentences, students punctuate sentences with 100% accuracy. 2. Given the "wh" words, students can say and write sentences on their own with 80% accuracy.
Materials:
 Flash cards, text, chalkboard, notebooks, worksheets
Introduction:
 Require students to settle in their seats, write the lesson on the chakboard and advise them of the lesson. Do a warm-up with them having them to pronounce the "wh" words that begin interrogative sentences.
Development:
  Say "wh" plus "en" is pronounced as when, "wh" plus "ere" as where. Do this for all of them. Next have each of them pronounce them independently. Put them in groups and give eacj group a flash cards with a "wh" word. Each person in the group will say a sentence with the "wh" word given. If the group has the word "who" each person will make a sentence beginning with who, such as "Who is that kid?"
Practice:
 Students will practice in groups doing verbal practice making sentences. They will also use the chalkboard to demonstrate for all in class to see and give input.
Accommodations:
 Some students need special seating that will lessen distraction.
Checking For Understanding:
 -Give sentences or worksheets for students to complete independently and check for correctness. -Give verbal quizzes, and listen for verbal responses and correct or praise as needed.
Closure:
 Give homework and provide helpful feedback.
Evaluation:
 Students need more time because of writing disabilities and must practice more before going on to the next topic. They frequently write without proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation marks.
