Goals:
 Students will answer comprehension questions from orally presented text. Students will name vocabulary with 80% accuracy, Students will identify pictures of vocabulary words, Students will follow, oral directions involving target vocabulary with multiple step directions
Objectives:
 identify vocabulary, state content information, answer specific questions, and follow multiple step directions
Materials:
 story, picture cards, work sheet
Introduction:
 Small group will listen to a short story about a hayride. Pictures of target vocabulary will be presented as story is read.
Development:
 Students will name pictures, students will follow directions from a hayride worksheet
Practice:
 Students will name vocabulary pictures. They will also name things out in the real world on our trip.

 I would make sure to take students on a trip that included a hay ride. This trip would be perfect in the fall when the leaves are all about. Maybe a pumpkin and cider making trip.
