Introduction: | Pre-lesson: to introduce the topic of the lesson and engage The pupils' attention by some activities: - Prepare pictures and questions - Request the students to look at these materials and make a - Prediction for the topic - Organize the peering discussion about these questions focusing on the topic |
Development: | 1. Warm up (10 minutes) - Ask students to look at the pictures and read the questions - Ask students to follow the slices and discuss in pairs - Collect the ideas, give the commend and explanation Introduce the topic |
Practice: | develop reading skill: - Introduce some techniques including scanning, skimming skills and reading closely look to understand the text - Give students the examples to get used to these skills as well as exercises for them to practice - Make a guidance to do the tasks in Ex1, Ex2..etc |
