Goals: | Goal is to creat proficiency on some aspects of MS Paint such as how to make shapes and how to color and delete objects |
Objectives: | Students should be able to reach the above mentioned goals. students should be able to name tools and parts of the program. Students should be able to explain in their own words how to create paint documents. |
Materials: | computer, color monitor, mouse, keyboard, MS Paint softwear |
Introduction: | MS Paint is a basic art program that is included on every version of Windows. the program has certain limitiations but it is a useful tool when use appropiately. |
Development: | Students will observe on the fron of the screen as I open the program. They will learn the different terminology and the different parts of the program. They will learn the name of the different tools and the technical name of objects such as cursor, paint, brush, eraser, and others. |
Practice: | Students will be asked to come up with a simple art project on which they will be asked to use at least four elements of the program. |
Accommodations: | Students will be able to ask instructor any questions regarding the program. They will be able to ask about how to use parts of the program that they did not remember from the lecture part of the class. |
Checking For Understanding: | Instructor will quiz students individually about the names and objects that make up MS Paint. |
Closure: | Students will present their art to the rest of the class. |
Evaluation: | students will be graded based on the rubrick that they received at the beginning of class. |
Teacher Reflections: | Teacher will give as much positive feedback as possible before handing out graded work. Students will learn what they could have done better. |
