Objectives: | 7.01 Identify advantages and uses of multimedia/prenstation graphic software. 7.02 Identify and explain multimedia presentation graphic terminology. 7.03 Plan and design basic presenations. 7.04Create, save adn present basic presenations. |
Materials: | computers, printers, Microsoft Office Office software-Power Point, LCD Projector. |
Introduction: | Introduce students to power point presentation by presenting a power point presentation developed by DPI and the various areas of Power Point: uses, advantages, terminology, presentation, and more. |
Development: | Show/demonstrate to students how to begin a presenation. Use PP Presentation from DPI to introduce vocabulary, advantages and more. Professionally created PP presenations (for organzation), teacher created and/or students created. |
Practice: | 1. Students will create a power point presenatation that will contain at least 6 slides. 2. Teacher will guide students on how to add text and pictures to slides. |
Accommodations: | None. All informations is orally and in handouts. Direction are given out orally to whole group and individually as needed. |
Checking For Understanding: | Question and answer session at beginning and end of lesson, orally. Teacher created test. |
