Goals: | To make provide information to students to track the changes made by them or some one else in Microsoft Word document. |
Objectives: | Students can track what changes have been made in document, if changes are made by some one else in their document, they have option to accept or reject these changes. |
Materials: | Microsoft Word 2016,Working Internet On a computer or Laptop, Projector, Class Room with some students, Sample essay to work on |
Introduction: | Take any essay to work on and open it in Microsoft word. When you want to see who’s been making changes to your document, turn on the Track Changes feature in the tracking group on the Review Tab. |
Development: | Make some changes in provided sample document. Go to Review tab and in the Simple Markup list, choose a Simple Markup to see where changes are with a red line in the margin which shows location of changes. Further in the Accept list, choose Accept to accept all changes, or choose reject to reject changes. |
Practice: | Try on another sample document, make some changes first by editing or deleting few words or ask some one else to make some changes. Then go through all step provided above, to see if it works or not. |
Accommodations: | Check after each step and go slowly and only move further after understanding |
Checking For Understanding: | Take a sample essay, ask a friend or classmate to make some changes and then confirm with him after tracking the changes. |
Closure: | Each student will be provide pre-edited document to track changes. Don't forget to turn on the Track Changes. |
Evaluation: | Each student will provided with document with changes made by teacher, then marking will done on the basis of changes tracked. |
Teacher Reflections: | Explaining individually to the student who will face problem in steps and good work will be appreciated with good grades. |
