Teacher Name: | Ryan McClellan |
Grade: | Grade 9-10 |
Subject: | Arts and Crafts |
Topic: | Discovering Your Acting Potential |
Content: | We will introduce this session with some one-on-one time in order to properly discern the student's character type and personality. This will leave us into our next discussion. |
Goals: | Our primary intention during this session: Cover all twelve character types and acting styles, and before we reach the end of the session, we must have come to a conclusion as to which acting style and/or character type is possessive of the student. This will be crucial in determining where to look for higher-end work, as well as how to go about finding said work. |

Practice: | The student will be given a number of resources to study on his/her own terms, helping them prepare for the next session. The student must learn (in their own time) a certain level of confidence when performing or acting, especially when in front of an audience. |
Accommodations: | The environment we will be working in must be one of peace and quiet; we need to be able to focus on developing our core character, and any excess noise will only provide a distraction. |
