Introduction:
I am Robert Wells and today I will be discussing how the perceptions of others impact our daily life. I will also demonstrate how we all perceive the same event differently.
Development:
One example or model of perception can be easily related to the untimely death of Micheal Jackson. The way he was perceived in life differs from the way he has been perceived in death.
Practice:
Class, has your perception of someone ever changed once you have learned new information about them? If you think of information you have recently learned about someone, would that effect the way you perceive them?
Accommodations:
Does anyone need me to further explain perception?
Checking For Understanding:
Does everyone understand today's topic on perceiving others?
Closure:
Today we have learned that our perceptions may be diiferent than other's. Our keywords to remember are: Second-order reality, punctuation, selection, and self-serving bias. These terms play an important role in how we perceive others.
