Goals: | 1. To produce a meaningful digital product 2. To create a DVD of memories that may possibly include: Still picture, movies, music tracks, audio tracks 3. To create a well planned product that will reach the identified target audience. |
Objectives: | 1. View digital stories from websites as examples. 2.After the project students will see the beauty of these little digital movies is that anyone with access to a computer can learn to create them. Most of the films will include music, sound and often the person's own voice as narration creating a very personal, multi-dimensional experience. |

Introduction: | Discuss Family Times, Holidays, Thanksgiving - Jan. 1st. with students. Discuss the past assignment. Into to next storytelling project as a family gift. |
Development: | Show websites using story telling w/photos, possible movie clips, real voice, and music. Students will then collect photos, and storyboard using comic life ideas to build their project. The project will need to show that it has a strong HOOK to begin...developing to a well developed story with a close. |
Practice: | Form groups to springboard ideas. Some students will need a lot of directing on this. Share ideas with others. Remind students that we have access to a scanner. They may bring flash drives... |
Accommodations: | Help may be needed for students who can not access photos. The students could draw their pics. |
Checking For Understanding: | The use of status reports will be used. The project has to be completed and burned by Dec. 15th. Constant monitoring of students work by the teacher. |
Closure: | After initial instructions are given have open discussion for questions. Ask students to share ideas. Showcase final products before Winter Break. |
Evaluation: | A Rubric will be used to assess and provide for credit given on this project. |
