Goals: | The goal of this class is to give students hands-on production experience and expose them to real world uses of their knowledge. |

Materials: | Food ingredients from recipes Table linens Bowls for elevations Centerpiece Ring mold Saran wrap |
Introduction: | Tell students that they will be preparing and setting up their holiday party. They each prepare a food item and then as a group they will set up a buffet for display and service. |
Development: | The teacher will guide one group through the elements of a buffet setup, while other groups are preparing food items. |
Practice: | The teacher will instruct the buffet group on traying up cookies and also do a class demo on punch rings. |
