Introduction: | Begin the lecture by showing the class photos of antiquated technology. I will also explain to the classroom that without the innovation in technology, digital media may not have the success it sees today. |
Development: | I will show students how a simply photo taking on a cell phone can be transferred to a professional website. |
Practice: | Students will work in groups at their tables to discuss the different areas of digital media. |
Accommodations: | Digital Media Worksheet. |
Checking For Understanding: | During my lecture I will use different types of questioning strategies to assess how much the students have retained from my lecture. |
Closure: | Finally, to wrap up the lecture, I will provide an overview of the material taught and summarize the importance of digital media in our world today. |
Evaluation: | I will hand the students a "Ticket Out The Door" exercise to be completed before they leave the classroom. This will help evaluate how well the students retained information during the class. |
