Goals:
 Basic understanding of the 6 foundational principles of health as taught by Holistic Health Practitioner Paul Chek
Objectives:
 Explain the 6 foundational principles of health (sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement, thinking, and breathing) and how they relate to your overall health.
Materials:
 How to Eat Move and be Healthy (book) You are what you eat.(audio series) Paul Chek explaining the 6 foundational principles (sleep,hydration,nutrition, movement, thinking, and breathing). Video
Introduction:
 Group exercise (energy push) to introduce the concept of working in instead of working out.
Development:
 Listen to audio of you are what you eat. Investigate the roll of leaky gut syndrome and it's effects on the body. Understand the order of importance of the 6 principles and how they affect each other as well as the body.
Practice:
 Fill out questionnaire to determine physiological load then use that information to create a diet and exercise plan that takes into account all 6 principles.
Accommodations:
 All learning styles accommodated and exercises can be modified to be suitable for any disability that may be encountered.
Checking For Understanding:
 Brief multiple choice test to test the basic understanding of: sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement, thinking, and breathing.
Closure:
 Re-integrate the content and it's importance to health as well as take any questions that may be outstanding.
Evaluation:
 Check diet and exercise logs in one week to see if applying correctly.

 Class questionnaire to see if anything could be done better in students opinion.
