Materials: | Gloves and mouth guards. |
Introduction: | Tag. Get the students warmed up and ready for physical activity |
Development: | 1) Show the two techniques 2) Explain and show the footwork and timing. 3)Explain and show the applications of the technique. |
Practice: | 1)On the instructor's count, practice the footwork that will be used for the two techniques individually. 2)On the instructor's count, practice the first reverse-jab technique individually. 3)On count, practice the same technique with a partner. 4)Practice the technique with a partner in a pseudo-sparring match. 5-7)Repeat steps 2-4 with the second technique. 8)Proper sparring with a focus on the new techniques. |

Checking For Understanding: | Ask questions to your students about what they learned and why they learned the techniques. |
Closure: | Finish the lesson with a cool down drill. |
