 observe non-newtonian characteristics make simple predictions about how oobleck will react depending on conditions
Materials:
 Water ½ cup, Cornstarch 1 cup, Bowls 1, Spoons 1, Ziploc bags 1, Food coloring A couple drops
Introduction:
 show the students the finished product and what oobleck looks like and what it is
Development:
 show videos of oobleck and what we can do with it
Practice:
 teach the kids about the oobleck and newtonian and non-newtonian liquids
Accommodations:
 demonstrate the solid and liquid properties
Checking For Understanding:
 test the students on scenarios like when is oobleck and solid and when is it a liquid
Closure:
 Discuss with the students on what they've observed about the oobleck
