 observe non-newtonian characteristics make simple predictions about how oobleck will react depending on conditions
Materials:
 Water ½ cup Cornstarch 1 cup Bowls 1 Spoons 1 Ziploc bags 1 Food coloring A couple drops
Introduction:
 show the students the finished product and what oobleck looks like and what it is
Development:
 show videos of oobleck and what we can do with it
Practice:
 teach the kids about the oobleck and newtonian and non-newtonian liquids
Accommodations:
 demonstrate the solid and liquid properties
Checking For Understanding:
 test the students on scenarios like when is oobleck and solid and when is it a liquid
