Objectives: | Produce twinkle twinkle little star, so that an audience will recognize it with 20 minutes of practice. |
Materials: | Classroom set if ukulele flip chart and permanent maker to write lyrics and chords. Smartphone to use as a recording and playback device. |
Introduction: | How green are you ... to the tune of Auld Lang Syn. |
Development: | Show chord forms starting which C and getting them to strum on the beat. Then add G. Switch back and forth. Get them to do F on its own for quite a while. Alternate between F and G. |
Practice: | Learn twinkle twinkle |
Accommodations: | Autotab, slower, help form chords hand over hand. |
