Content:
 Shapes of chords, rhythm, lyrics, pitch, strum and sing at same time.
Goals:
 Produce a song that can be recognize.
Objectives:
 Produce twinkle twinkle little star, so that an audience will recognize it with 20 minutes of practice.
Materials:
 Classroom set if ukulele flip chart and permanent maker to write lyrics and chords. Smartphone to use as a recording and playback device.
Introduction:
 How green are you ... to the tune of Auld Lang Syn.
Development:
 Show chord forms starting which C and getting them to strum on the beat. Then add G. Switch back and forth. Get them to do F on its own for quite a while. Alternate between F and G.
Practice:
 Learn twinkle twinkle
Accommodations:
 Autotab, slower, help form chords hand over hand.
Checking For Understanding:
 Record and play back.
