Materials: | classroom set of ukeleles flip chart and permanent marker to write lyrics and chords. Smartphone to use as a recording and playback device. |
Introduction: | How green are you ... to the tune of Auld Lang Syn. |
Development: | Show chord forms starting with C and getting them to strum on the beat. Then add G. Switch back and forth.Get them to do F on its own for quite a while.Alternate between f and g, Add c alternate between f and c and f and g for a while. |
Practice: | Learn twinkle twinkle. |
Accommodations: | autotab, slower, help form chords hand over hand |
