Introduction: | review some numbers with their place values and tell them they are worth 10 times more than the place value right to them. |
Development: | drawing a place value chart on board and write a 4 digit number and explain each number and its place value.for e.g 5678 has five thousands, six hundreds, seven tens and eight ones. |
Practice: | divide students into groups and hand them place value charts with some numbers to practice. |
Accommodations: | have find students the place values for different numbers on place value chart. |
Checking For Understanding: | see students doing the place values for each numbers and how they figure out each number. |
