Grade:
 Grade 11-12
Subject:
 Math

Topic:
Learning about Probability of picking from a deck of cards.
Content:
Knowledge of playing cards and basic understanding about probability
Goals:
Solving playing cards probability problems of drawing two cards simultaneously based on a well-shuffled deck of 52 cards
Objectives:
Learning Basic concept on drawing a card in first class
Materials:
Playing cards, calculator, notebook, a pencil or pen
Introduction:
Ask all the students who likes to play cards, how much knowledge they have about suits and colors of cards
Development:
Start from very basic, probability of one cards from well-shuffled deck of 52 cards, then move to different suits, black cards, red cards, and face cards.
Practice:

Accommodations:
For those who don't have knowledge of cards, provide a list of required knowledge like In a pack or deck of 52 playing cards, they are divided into 4 suits of 13 cards each i.e. spades ♠ hearts ♥, diamonds ♦, clubs ♣.
