Goals:
 Remove the engine from a car for servicing with minimal assistance.
Objectives:
 Prepare engine for removal. Correctly remove engine without damaging anything. Correctly identify all parts of the engine, particularly those that pertain to removal.
Materials:
 car shell with engine to demonstrate removal of engine, tools
Introduction:
 A basic overview of all the things that need to be removed or unhooked for the motor to be removed.
Development:
 Demonstrate how to remove/unhook more complicated parts on the practise car
Practice:
 Ask questions and involve the students as you work through the demonstration on the car shell.
Accommodations:
 
Checking For Understanding:
 Short quiz asking about important steps in the engine removal process at the end of the class.
Closure:
 Go over some of the things you should do with the motor once it is out, such as cleaning.
