Objectives:
 1) Be able to balance yourself. 2) Be able to stop using breaking techniques. 3) Control travel speed.
Materials:
 Rollerblade inline skates, protective/safety gear.
Introduction:
 Practice makes perfect.
Development:
 Show techniques on how to stand upright on rollerblades. Move around emphasizing feet positioning. Show proper breaking techniques.
Practice:
 While using the assistance of a wall practice crouching, leaning and pivoting. These motions will help with moving and controlling speed. Cover the different breaking practices.
Accommodations:
 Progress slowly and at a comfortable pace. Watch additional instructional videos on different skating techniques.
Checking For Understanding:
 Try to move around and stop without the assistance of a wall or railing.
Closure:
 Progress from slower/smaller movements to larger strides utilizing the techniques learned.
