Development: | Show techniques on how to stand upright on rollerblades. Move around emphasizing feet positioning. Show proper breaking techniques. |
Practice: | While using the assistance of a wall practice crouching, leaning and pivoting. These motions will help with moving and controlling speed. Cover the different breaking practices. |
Accommodations: | Progress slowly and at a comfortable pace. Watch additional instructional videos on different skating techniques. |
Checking For Understanding: | Try to move around and stop without the assistance of a wall or railing. |
Closure: | Progress from slower/smaller movements to larger strides utilizing the techniques learned. |
