Introduction: | Split everyone into groups with same amount of people and explain total amount of people is groups x people in groups. |
Development: | Have 6 bags and 6 marbles, then choose different amounts of marbles and bags. |
Practice: | give students bags and marbles and have them attempt different multiplication variation using the bags and marbles. |
Accommodations: | Go slowly, draw different examples on board. |
Checking For Understanding: | ask random multiplication question . |
Closure: | Show a final example of multiplication. |
