Content:
 Knowing the total number of cards, 4 different suits, how many cards in each suit, names of each suit.
Goals:
 To familiarise one with deck of playing cards
Objectives:
 what a student can do, know and understand after completing the topic
Materials:
 pack of 52 cards
Introduction:
 Deck contains 52 cards which is divided into 4 suits: diamonds and hearts (both red in colour), clubs and spades (black in colour)
Development:
 one should know 4 and 13 are factors of 52
Practice:
 lay out all the cards and sort them in piles of each suits
Accommodations:
 List all outcomes of experiment using principle of counting.
Checking For Understanding:
 estimate all the probabilities from listed data, also checkout if the experiment got repeated which will actually leads to better estimate of probability
Closure:
 probability is given by number of outcomes of interest divided by total number of outcomes(usually applied in case of equally likely outcome)
Evaluation:
 This game made students learn how probability works and how to handle simple calculations , on the other side they enjoyed learning about deck.
