Goals:
 At the end of this lecture the student will be able to create word art and employ it practically. The student will also be able to recognize word art more often in day to day life.
Objectives:
 Given a blank word document, the student will be able to create and display word art effectively. Given sample pages, the student will be able to pinpoint employed word art and gauge it's effectiveness.
Materials:
 Powerpoint slides with class interaction. Instructor led example in creation of word art.
Introduction:
 Powerpoint slides to introduce myself with a few of the best examples of word art in popular culture. (2 Minutes)
Development:
 Discuss several examples of word art used effectively and ineffectively through several mediums through powerpoint slides.(3 Min)
Practice:
 Guide class through a sample creation of Word Art and effective application.(3 min)

 Quickfire round of slides to see if students can pinpoint how many pieces of word art are on display on multiple pages. (1 min)
