Introduction:
 My focusing event will be asking the students to recap the information learned about the Marshall Plan and Truman doctrine from last class.

 I will be using PowerPoint along with my lecture to teach the information to the class.

 I will be checking for understanding during the reading by walking around and asking students questions. I will also be checking for understanding during the lecture by asking questions on material just recently covered.

 I will wrap up the class by introducing the topic to the next lecture.
Evaluation:
 my measure of progress will take place when grading the reading assignments. I will get a measure on what the students understood, and what they did not.
Teacher Reflections:
 When looking at the reading assignments, I will be looking for the questions that students missed most or the concepts that were commonly misunderstood by students. I will reword questions if necessary or fix my teaching method so that its more understandable to the students.
