 The students will learn how to write checks and balance a checkbook. They will learn vocabulary pertaining to checking accounts. The students will learn how to record deposits and withdrawals in a check register.
 The student will write a check with the information in the correct areas. The students will learn when to record a transaction as a withdrawal and a deposit. The students will use the correct vocabulary when discussing checking accounts. The students will play a game that will reinforce these skills.

Checking For Understanding:
 Playing the "Bank Account" game.
 The teacher will check the student work to see if it was done correctly. The teacher will observe and monitor the students playing the "Bank Account" game.
