Materials: | Prefix Skills Worksheet, Suffix Skills Worksheet |
Introduction: | You remember Prefixes and Suffixes from last week. Who can tell me what a Prefix is? Who can tell me what a Suffix is? |
Development: | Give me some examples. Write examples on the board. Reviewed homework to go over the most missed questions. |
Practice: | In groups, separate the prefix and suffix for the words listed. |
Accommodations: | Read instructions orally and read each chart item and questions including answer choices. |
Checking For Understanding: | Matched words in questions to prefix and meaning in chart. |
Closure: | Lets make a sentence using the words from our activity to see how prefixes and suffixes can be used. |
