Introduction: | Begin by asking students to share their knowledge of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. |
Development: | Continue by showing the students an Internet site about Harriet Tubman and have them copy down important facts that they read about her. Then use the National Geographic site that takes students on a tour of the Underground Railroad letting them decide which course to take. |
