Goals:
 Students will be able to analyze the economic, political, and social reforms of the Progressive Period (NCSCOS Goal 7)
Objectives:
 Students will be able to explain the conditions that led to the rise of Progressvism (NCSOS 7.01) Students will be able to analyze how different groups of Americans made economic and political gains in the Progressive Period (NCSCOS 7.02)
Materials:
 1.Digital Projector 2.Video 3.Pictures 4.Handouts
Introduction:
 Students will be reminded of the handouts they received the day before and informed that we will take notes then divide into groups to complete a venn diagram on progressive presidents.
Development:
 I will review the venn diagram and go over the Progressive Presidents and there policies one more time.
Practice:
 Students will get into groups to work on a venn diagram. Students will be placed into groups to complete charts on TR's Square Deal and Woodrow Wilson's New Freedom
Accommodations:
 Students will be taught through lecturing which will provide videos as well as pictures to connect ideas to historical events and figures.
Checking For Understanding:
 I will constantly ask questions to the class and at the end will ask them to review previous days work and topics.
