  3. Association for Career and Technical Education- The largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers.
  4. Bartending Training- Bartending training information for several major U.S. cities.
  5. Cedefop- The European agency that helps policy makers and practitioners of the European Commission, the Member States and social partner organizations across Europe make informed choices about vocational training policy.
  6. DriversTest.net- This site was created to assist you in your pursuit of a drivers license, a motorcycle license or CDL. Each section contains practice questions that will help you prepare for your test.

  9. ERIC Clearinghouse on Adult, Career, Vocational Education- A goldmine of professional articles on vocational education.
  10. International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) - A non-profit association of education and training organizations and individuals devoted to the constructive and consistent use of the continuing education unit and to the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of continuing education, training and human resource development.
  11. International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA) - A worldwide network of vocational educators, vocational skills training organizations, business and industrial firms, and others interested or involved in vocational education and training.
  12. Journal of Vocational and Technical Education- A seasonal e-publication.
  13. JuniorJobs.com- This site makes it easy for students to find jobs. They connect teachers and parents directly with potential employers.
  14. National Association for Trade and Industrial Education (NATIE) - NATIE is comprised of teachers, supervisors, teacher educators, and administrators on the local state and national levels, and focuses exclusively on the needs and future of trade and industrial education.
  15. The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) - Develops and publishes standardized construction and maintenance curricula, safety programs, management education, industry image materials and craft skills assessments.
  16. National Center for Research in Vocational Education- Now closed, but offers valuable links to publications.
  17. National School-to-Work Internet Gateway- School-to-Work resources.
  18. National School-to-Work Learning Center - Features a large library of school-to-work resources and tools; information on state initiatives, technical assistance providers and grants; news items; contacts; calendars and links.
  19. National Skill Standards Board - A coalition of leaders from business, labor, employee, education, and community and civil rights organizations created to build a voluntary national system of skill standards, assessment and certification systems to enhance the ability of the United States workforce to compete effectively in a global economy.  These skills are being identified by industry in full partnership with labor, civil rights and community-based organizations.  The standards will be based on high performance work and will be portable across industry sectors.
