Activities:

Begin by brainstorming with the class different ideas for a product to promote. This project would be easier if the class was divided into groups and each group worked together on the same project.

Once each group has picked a product have each group identify the audience they are going to be trying to sell the ad to. Children, adults, teenagers, boys, girls, etc.

Have the students draw out their ad on a piece of paper first using various words and phrases to describe their product.

Once they have completed this they can move to the Power Point. Here they can choose from clip art to help with their display.

Have the students put together a presentation that introduces their ad and presents their ad.

Have students present their ad in front of the class.

Assessment: While the students are doing their presentations check to make sure that their ads are persuasive and that their campaigns match the product they have chosen.
