None needed

Activities:

Have the students stand in a circle. Give the students a word. As they repeat the word, they should jump once as they say each syllable. Practice this several times as a class. When they have the hang of it, have one student jump for each syllable as the class says the word.

Closure:

Another version of this activity would be to use drums and cymbals. Students can bang on the drums and clang the cymbals with each syllable.
