Goals:
 Students will successfully complete all assignments with a 75% or higher accuracy rate. Student will be able to identify and apply in their writings the selected cases of pronouns.
Objectives:
 1. To identify pronouns and their antecedents. 2. To rewrite sentences by replacing nouns with pronouns.
Materials:
 Yarn Interwrite board
Introduction:
 Have students read an awkwardly written paragraph on from the board. Have the students help me to revise the paragraph by replacing the repeated nouns with the appropriate personal pronouns.
Development:
 Give class pronoun notes(see attached page)
Practice:
 Select students to come to front of the room and have them match up with yarn the antecedent to the proper pronoun.Have students used "Set in Stone" charts-- teacher will monitor the placement of their stone.
Accommodations:
 
Checking For Understanding:
 Teacher will monitor students during independent practice Students may also use their "help" or 'Ok" signs if needed. "Set in Stone" page will also help in monitoring understanding.
Closure:
 Teacher will sum up lesson by asking students a series of questions. Students must respond to questions using a specific case of pronouns.
Evaluation:
 Check book pages. 5 ? quiz on following day
