 Pre-baked cupcakes, frosting for fillling and topping, gallon bags, icing couplers and tips, decorative toppings,
Introduction:
 The program will be opened with an attention getting skit. Students will be instructed to take a piece of paper and divide it into three sections and told to write down descriptive words for each of three sections of the skit. An participant will be chosen to assist the instructors in this execise and told to respond each time with the words, "Thanks, I see you put a lot of thought into this". The instructor will tell the participant to close their eyes as he has a suprise for them. The instructor will do this three times and present the participant with a cup cake each time. The first time will be a store bought commercial cupcake, the second a dimly decorated home made, and the third a large fancily decorated home made. The rest of the students will then engage in a discussion on what descriptive terms they wrote for each example and discuss how they felt. The purpose of this execise is to engage the students affectively and motivate them to want to be craetive and participate.
Development:
 -The instructors will demonstrate how to attach a coupler and decorating tip to a gallon bag used as a decorating bag. - The instructors will demonstrate how to fill the bags with frosting that will be used for filling and topping. -The instructors will demonstrate the use of a straight tip for filling and a star tip for topping. -The instructors will show different decorating items such as candies etc and suggest how they may be used.
Practice:
 -students will be divided into pairs for the excersize -students will be provided three cupcakes per pair -students will demonstrate how to assemble a decorating bag using a gallon bag, coupler, and decorating tip -students will fill the bags with frosting - students will each fill one cupcake with instructor assitstance if needed -students will each use the star tip and frost the top of a cupcake

 N/A
Checking For Understanding:
 -Students will be walked through the process and each step (preparing decorating bag, attaching couplers etc) will be checked along the way. Students will be asked to show progress and ask questions.
Closure:
 -the finished cupcakes will be evaluated by instructors and students told the eat and enjoy their work with the exception of the team submission for evaulation
Evaluation:
 -bags checked for proper fit of couplers and decorating tips -bags checked for proper filling of frosting -cupcakes inspected during filling to make sure enough was injected (at least a tablespoon) but not so much as to break through - cupcakes inspected to make sure that frosting completely covers the tops -third submission will be judged for originality and creativity
