Which Way???

Directions:

Read the story below. Then place the number (starting with 1) on the lines below to correctly order the events as they happened in the story.

The field was getting mowed. The players were practicing. They were getting ready to chalk the field when they heard a noise. It came from in the dugout. When they went into the shed to get the chalk it wasn't there. They looked everywhere, but it was no where to be found. When they looked in the band room there it was. They heard giggling from in a closet. It was Chantilee and Paula. They were getting Mikey and Kasey back because they had put liquid bubbles in there french horn and flute. That night at the baseball game the field lights just went out. Mikey and Kasey knew who it was right away. They went into the control room and there stood Chantilee and Paula. They were suprised when they came in. Mikey and Kasey said they wouldn't tell if they stopped this nonsense. They said ok. They soon became really good friends and that was the end of the GREAT baseball mystery.
