Facts about Wyoming

 

Introduction:  
  Today we are going to explore a little about what makes Wyoming great. Be on the look out for interesting facts and things that make Wyoming unique.
Task:  
  Your job is to use the links provided to explore the different symbols that represent Wyoming and learn how they were chosen. What symbols represent Wyoming? Why were they selected?
Process:  
  You will be working in learning groups of three to complete these tasks. Please select one member to be your recorder, time keeper, and reporter. You will have 20 minutes of research time and 10 minutes to prepare to report out to the class. Your team will be looking for three symbols that represent Wyoming and tell us why they are important.
