Help
- Does the Teachnology
Toolbar work with the AOL browser?
The Teachnology Toolbar does not work with the AOL browser. AOL users
can use Internet Explorer.
- How
do I install the Teachnology Toolbar?
Visit our main toolbar page. Download the Toolbar setup program to
your local machine and run the Setup.exe file. Installation wizard
will walk you through the entire installation process. You will need
to restart your machine to use the toolbar in IE after you install
it.
- I
have a Mac. Can I install the Teachnology Toolbar?
No, a Mac version is not available.
- Since
installing the Teachnology Toolbar, my browser has begun to randomly
crash. What's happening?
Do you have other third-party browser plug-ins
installed on your system? Some of these plug-ins do not play so well
with the Teachnology Toolbar (e.g., SafariDog). If you want to continue
using the Teachnology Toolbar, we recommend you uninstall other browser
plug-in software and see if that corrects the problem. We appreciate
your patience while we work on a solution.
- How
do I uninstall the Toolbar?
Click the drop down menu next to the
Teachnology logo and choose Uninstall.
- I've
installed the Teachnology Toolbar, but I can't find it. What happened?
If you do not see the Teachnology Toolbar,
go to View > Toolbars and click on the Teachnology Toolbar
option.
Be advised that some earlier versions of IE 5.0 have a known problem
with displaying toolbars. The Teachnology Toolbar may be listed under
the name "Radio" (usually the second such listing if there are two).
This may also keep the Teachnology Toolbar from initially appearing
when it's first installed. Go to View > Toolbars and click
on the second "radio" option.
Toolbar Use
- How
can I move my Toolbar to a different place?
You can change the location

you to place two toolbars on the same line if you want to conserve
space in your browser.
Please note that, as with
all of the IE browser toolbars, you can only move the Teachnology
Toolbar to locations at the top of your browser window; toolbars cannot

If you are using Windows XP,
please make sure your toolbars are unlocked. To check this setting,
go to View->Toolbars and uncheck the option Lock the Toolbars.
