  INTRODUCTION:
On a beautiful sunny Spring day, we see pretty little insects flying around. Those colorful insects are BUTTERFLIES!!! Have you ever wondered how many different types of butterflies there are? If not, this is an awesome time to explore the world of butterflies and find out interesting facts about them!
Task:  
 
TASK:
Your task is to work in groups of three (3) and be able to:

1. Identify the life-cycle of a butterfly
2. Distinguish the differences between a butterfly and a moth
(In case you didnt know, many people confuse butterflies with moths. Lets see how well you do with this confusion!)
3. Create your own butterfly!
(This is a chance to show your creativity! Show the artistic side of yourself!)

Each group member will be assigned one task.

Member #1: will be able to identify the life-cycle of a butterfly. This person is to fill out the worksheet and identify each stage of the life cycle. This is the worksheet for member #1 to fill out: WORKSHEET 1.

Member #2: will be able to distinguish the differences between a butterfly and a moth. This person is to fill out the worksheet and discover how a butterfly differs from a moth. This is the worksheet for member #2: WORKSHEET 2.

Member #3: will be able to create his/her own butterfly!! This person is to artistically create a butterfly of their choice. This is the worksheet for member #3: WORKSHEET 3.
