Jokes you can tell it class- "Living A Long Healthy Life" An 85-year-old couple, after being married for almost 60 years, died in a car crash. They had been in good health the last ten years, mainly due to her interest in health food and exercising. When they reached the Pearly Gates, St. Peter took them to their mansion, which was decked out with a beautiful kitchen, master bath suite and a Jacuzzi. As they looked around, the old man asked St. Peter how much all this was going to cost. "It's free," St. Peter replied, "this is Heaven." Next, they went out in the back yard to survey the championship-style golf course that the home was located. They would have golfing privileges every day and each week, the course changed to a new one representing the great golf courses on earth. The old man asked, "What are the green fees?" St. Peter replied, "This is heaven, you play for free." Next, they went to the club house and saw the lavish buffet lunch with the cuisines of the World laid out. "How much to eat?" asked the old man. "Don't you understand yet? This is heaven, it is free!" St. Peter replied, with some exasperation. "Well, where are the low fat and low cholesterol tables?" the old man asked timidly. St. Peter lectured, "That's the best part - you can eat as much as you like of whatever you like and you never get fat and you never get sick. This is Heaven." With that, the old man went into a fit of anger, throwing down his hat and stomping on it, and screaming wildly. St. Peter and his wife both tried to calm him down, asking him what was wrong. The old man looked at his wife and said, "This is all your fault! If it weren't for your blasted bran muffins, I could have been here ten years ago!" ============================================================= Sponsor: NEED HELP? Technology Tidbit- A question from Nancy, San Diego, CA: "I'm looking into buying a home computer. I use a Apple Macintosh at school, but friends tell me to buy an IBM. Should I consider buying an Apple? Where should I look into buying it as well?" TeAch-nology.com Responds: Let's cover this question in two parts. First, you should not purchase a Mac for home use. And you should tell your school officials to stop buying them as well. Apple does offer wonderfully useful products, but the world's standard are IBM (PC) clones. We plan to publish a fully detailed tutorial on this subject before we launch (June 18th). The most significant point we can make is that, when your students meet today's marketplace, 97 out of 100 of them will be using IBM (PC) clones. Having a Mac today is like having a car that runs on orange juice, it works great but don't plan on taking any prolonged trips. We advocate the use of IBM compatible clones. When purchasing an IBM clone you need to ask yourself "how much can I afford?" If money is no object, as if this were true for any of us, Dell by far makes a superior product. DELL computers are basically the Mercedes of the computing world, great products but they are costly. You do truely get what you pay for though. They also sell refurbished models as well. http://www.dell.com If you want a great product at an afforbale price we find ABS Computers to be the leader. Computer Shopper always rates them high. One of our editors purchased a computer from them about 4 years ago. He raved about how supeior their service was and how cheap their systems were. We have since purchased over 150 computer from them. The best thing besides price is that they give you life-time technical support, a lot of other firms charge you $30 to talk to them after 2 years. http://www.abscomputers.com ============================================================= Sponsor: FREE HANDY STAMP!
