 Goal 6: The learner will demonstrate competency in a variety of movement forms and proficiency in a few to gain competence towards lifetime physical activities (NASPE Standard 1).
Objectives:
  Objective 6.02: Demonstrate a variety of beginner locomotor and combination skills in a movement pattern.
Materials:
 laminated upper/lower case letter cards poly spots cd player w/music
Introduction:
 Review various forms of locomotor movements used in prior games and activities. Review upper/lower case letters. Review moving safely in space.
Development:
 Each student will stand by poly spot. On command, students will lift spot and take and select a laminated letter from beneath. When music begins to play, students will move to find their upper/lower case letter match using the locomotor movement called out. Letters will be placed under a different poly spot and game will resume.
Practice:
 Each student will stand by poly spot. On command, students will lift spot and take and select a laminated letter from beneath.  Students with physical disabilities will walk as needed.
