Content:
 Money (coin identification, sums/differences, total sum) Subtraction with regrouping Time (elapsed) Word problems (addition/subtraction)
Goals:
 Increase math skills. Work independently. Asking for assistance.
Objectives:
 Individual Student Math Goals: All taken from individual IEP goals. Courtney will add numbers, tell time, and identify coins and their amounts. She works with Millie's Math House software on the computer to increase basic math skills. Cory will do basic math facts, count money and use strategies to solve word problems. Robert will increase subtraction skills, use strategies to identify addition and subtraction word problems, and multiply basic numbers. Jacob will use strategies to solve addition and subtraction word problems, and solve basic multiplication problems. Amber will add/subtract using regrouping (Touch Math), identify mixed coin and dollar amounts (Touch Money), and tell time to the minute. Andrew will add coin and dollar amounts, make change, and identify hours and minutes in elapsed time. Jaime will use strategies to solve addition and subtraction word problems, do basic subtraction using regrouping, and solve basic multiplication problems. Felicia will subtract with regrouping, use strategies to complete word problems, and do basic multiplication facts. Felicia is working on being able to work independently.

 SRA Math (subtraction) Individual worksheets per IEP goals Pencils Calculator Computer (Millie's Math House software) Touch Math materials (large printed numbers with touch points) Touch Money materials (large coins showing touch points)
Introduction:
 Students will be told to gather individual work and and materials they may need. Students will be instructed to work individually and to try their best to complete work on their own. Teacher will monitor class to redirect if necessary, and answer any questions that may arise.

Practice:
 Students will be given 30 minutes to complete work chosen to meet specific IEP goals. Each student is working on different topics in math, and at different levels. Teacher will praise for good, hard work.

Checking For Understanding:
 Students will be told to inform teacher upon completion of work so that it may be checked right away for mistakes so that any problems may be addressed immediately.
Closure:
 Once the 30 minutes is over, teacher will assess whether or not the students completed work, worked independently, and that they tried their best. Students work for free time at the end of each hour. If the teacher believes the students did all of the above they are allowed their free time. During this time students will read, work on puzzles etc.
