Objectives:
 Upon request the student will figure the probability of shaded and unshaded balls in a jar as a fraction and percent.
Materials:
 Michael Eaton packets, pencil, paper, markers, and marker board
Introduction:
 Today is the 88th day of math. What clues can you read to tell whether 88 is even or odd? a square? a cube? prime? composite? a double? a triple? What rules of divisibility apply? Does 2,3,4,etc. divide evenly? What are the factor pairs? Can you write today's number as the product of primes? Test Question for Day 88: area of a rectangle.
Development:
 What is Percentage Probability? Read through and demonstrate example problem together with the class. Call on students to solve the other 6 probability questions.
Practice:
 Do #15, 14, and 13 as a class together. Explore Fractions on Day 88. Read through story problem and solve as a class. If time allows, work Target Questions in back with class, rewarding tickets for correct answers. Teach vocabulary word of the day.
Accommodations:
 If students have further questions, new problems can be created to work as a class on the board.

 Assignment will be checked in class tomorrow.
Closure:
 Ask class to answer as a whole: This week's fraction is 3/7. What is the percentage probability?
