 1. Subject matter Articles from internet movie magazine about 3 famous movie characters; Jocker, Jack Sparrow, Gollum 2. Key vocabularies anarchy, bewildered, flicker, penchant, saction, succinct, volatile
Goals:
 1.Students will develop their reading skills: summarizing and evaluating. 2.Students will build vocabulary knowledge.
Objectives:
 1. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to complete the table in the worksheet within 2 minutes. 2. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to evaluate the author's opinion by expressing their idea through group discussion. 3. As a home assignment, students will be able to post their individual opinion in the internet bulletin board.
Materials:
 Computer-lab classroom, Worksheet 1(vocabulary) &2(including readings from the internet movie magazine), Board, Marker, OHP
Introduction:
 1. Saying hello with Ss T: Good morning, how are you feeling today? (Ss response) 2. Warming up T: Ok, Could you tell me what did you guys do on weekends? (Ss response...) T: Thanks. Acutally I went to the movies with my friend to see a 'Miindo'. I enjoyed the movie especially because my famous actor played in that movie. You guys also have a favorite actors or actresses, right? How about you, Soo? How about you, Young?... (ask Ss)
Development:
 1. Lead-in T: Ok, Today, we will talk about the famous movie characters together. Before starting, today's presentation group, student group 1 members are waiting for us. (student group presentation about today's vocabularies)
Practice:
 (Giving Ss worksheet 1) T: Let's give the presentation group a big hand! Thank you for your effort for us! T: Ok, based on your learning from the presentation group, you need to complete the worksheet and review the today's words. I'll give you 3 minutes. (Ss complete worksheets)
Accommodations:
 T: Complete the blank table and talk about it comparing the answers with your partner for 2 minutes. (Ss discuss the answers with their partners) T: Good. as you can see in the articles, the numbers in front of the character's names are the ranking from the result "100 greatest movie characters" which is conducted in the internet movie magazine. T: Then, Let's type the web address in the internet and take a look at the 100 characters they choose. (Ss review the results) T: Do you guys agree with this result? Or If you are not, then is there anybody in your mind that you want to recommend? Discuss it with your group members for 8 minutes. (Student group discussion)
Checking For Understanding:
 T: Ok. Could you come to the front and share your group member's opinions for us? Any volunteers? (S come to the front and make a short speech) (While S does, T takes notes about the discussion result on the board.) (After all group share, T summarizes the results briefly.)
Closure:
 T: Ok, there is a tiny home assignment for you. You need to post your inividual idea in the��Have your say on forum the now�� section which is the internet bulletin board in the magazine site and compare your ideas with others. Or, you can write a journal about your feelings related to today's class in your blog. Both are evaluated equally. Thank you for your active participation. Bye!
