Goals:
 Develop knowledge and skills regarding career opportunities
Objectives:
 Identify the categories of agricultural careers. Identify at least three job titles in each category Compare focus of each career category.
Materials:
 ppt photos of career categories and jobs in those categories
Introduction:
 Focus Questions: 1. What agriculture career are you most interested in? 2. Name two agriculture related careers you know about or have heard of.
Development:
 Define Agriculture. List three categories of agricultural careers and explain the focuses of each category with examples of job titles in each category.
Practice:
 Jeopardy game in which questions concerning identification of agricultural career categories and their respective jobs, and students work in teams.
Accommodations:
 Students will identify careers by photos showing the different jobs in each category. Each student will recieve a copy of the notes.
Checking For Understanding:
 Students will write a paragraph about 3 catagories of careers and the focus of the category.
Closure:
 Review by repeating main points and questioning orally.
Evaluation:
 Students should be able to identify 3 categories of careers and their focus. This will be shown in their paragraph.
