 Louisiana History: Kate Chopin- second most read female writer from Louisiana in the nineteenth century Baroness Pontalba- successful business woman, design and building of Pontalba buildings in Jackson Square (French Quarter)
Goals:
 The learner will be able to compare and contrast the lives of these two New Orleans women.
Objectives:
 Help the student to be able to differentiate between these two women and see the effect that New Orleans left upon the women's lives.

Introduction:
